I have been waiting to use a voucher I received as a gift for over 3 months now. First they had no new meals, not since October and now their website is down for maintenance. I ordered from them before and their food was delicious but I am getting really concerned that I'm unable to order any food from them and worry that my voucher will expire

a third of the voucher is useless!
Got given a vouched and waiting to use it.
The voucher was given for a year period yet since the start of September there has been only 2 weeks were food has been available (2 weeks out of nearly 4 months, a third of the voucher!).
Have contacted them multiple times and they mentioned registering online to be made aware when more comes, they have hinted at drops in November, nothing appears and now going through December still nothing available!
Been offered to exchange it for credit at one of the restaurants but the Restaurant is not easily accessible for me so would rather have the food delivery to enjoy at home.
To have a voucher running down the clock and be unable to spend it due to nothign being avaible for a third of the vouchers time is shocking!

Very restricted delivery slots. Fail to respond to complaints. Dreadful customer service. I was bought the voucher for a gift and they failed to deliver. Very disappointing. Not just the lack of food but also the way their team dealt with it. Defo will not be dining with them again.

AMAZING AND DELICIOUS MEAL BROUGHT TO YOUR DOOR…
Brilliant experience from delivery (DPD) and packaging to QUALITY of ingredients - we had Miami and never thought such a gorgeous meal could come from a box!! Flavours everything we expected from a restaurant - all instructions and pictures included. We received this as a present from our family and would not hesitate to order again. Wine included makes this a really good night out at home

We have used Home-x many times in the last 3 years. Food always excellent as is the customer serivce. Something has come up where I will not be at home the weekend of the delivery, quick email to Shannon in customer services and she has changed the date for me.

Just wow
We are massive fans of the restaurant but have just ordered the Miami at home thinking it could not match up. Wow we were mistaken, the food was excellent value for money, easy cooking instructions, the beef especially was fabulous and the portion size more than enough
The bottle of red complimented all the courses and cannot believe the price for the culinary experience! Definitely recommend.

Jubilee Experience, abandoned on doorstep
Jubilee Experience: not given a delivery window for 4th June, but told at 4pm that a delivery could still happen. Come 9pm and still nothing, checked DPD site and box was still holed up in Hinkley 320 miles & at least 6 hours drive away, and did not leave hub until 5am the following day. Updated both Home-X & DPD that i would not be at home on 5th June, but DPD still delivered it advertising the fact i was not at home overnight on the 5th! Box contained alcohol and required poof of age verification, but box just abandoned. Home-X policy is box to be abandoned in 21 degree heat even if perishable & contains alcohol, as laws don't apply to them. Got a refund, offered both a replacement deal & £25 voucher, but politely declined both. If hospitality expects support then do not lie, mislead & ignore your customer base.

'Jubilee Experience' didn't turn up
We ordered a 'Jubilee Experience' meal but it didn't arrive. Due on Sat 4th June, we got an e-mail after 4pm saying it may or may not arrive. It didn't. Got a refund and promised more info / compensation but that hasn't happened. Spoiled our anniversary, badly handled. A dissappointing experience.

We enjoyed the vegetarian Hebridean meal, it arrived perfectly packed with a menu card and instructions on how to create our own meal. It was a fun activity for us both. All courses were delicious. Thank you.
Ordered the Andulucian Experience
Ordered the Andulucian Experience, can't even begin to describe how disappointing it was. Ended up pretty much throwing the whole lot in the bin. The gazpacho was the only good thing about it. The Habas con Calzon was tasteless, as was the Crema de Jerez. The Frijoles Butifarra was just a think brown gloop that tasted of goats cheese. As for the star of the show, the Flatiron steak was one of the most awful, toughest pieces of meat I have ever had. In the end even the dog wouldn't eat it. Definitely won't be coming back!

Really enjoyed our first Home X…
Really enjoyed our first Home X restaurant meal in a box this weekend. Our Tuscan Feast was everything we had hoped for, bold flavours in elegant food copious enough to feed two hungry adults for two nights. We will certainly buy again. Preparation was clearly explained in the accompanying literature and the packaging was just right to protect the food from a DPD driver intent on ignoring the “this way up” indications. The wine supplied to go with this meal was a lovely finishing touch.
We have bought a variety of restaurant meals to eat at home in the past couple of years, this was certainly in the top few, probably the best currently available.
Already looking forward to future boxes.

Big failure this time.
Just had our Tuscany meal. Overall really underwhelmed this time. This was about our fifth home-
X and our first failure. Tomato broth pretty bland. Croutons fantastic. Pasta dish just average. Pork cheek very little taste bean stew the same. A very dry course. Broccoli, cooked for ten minutes and was completely raw. Bomboloni casing dry and tasteless it’s only the filling and mascarpone that made it edible.

I've had a few different boxes over the last year and really enjoyed them all. The food is really tasty, although individual servings may look small I find the whole meal to be really generous, so much so that we rarely finish our all in one night. It's much nicer, more enjoyable and feels more of a treat than a normal take away.

Mad Hatters tea party was fantastic
Mad Hatters tea party was fantastic. Beautifully packaged (despite the courier tipping the box side on) and easy to finish. A few items were very generous and one or two less so. Overall thoroughly enjoyed it, lots of fun and will definitely look to order another home-x meal.

Great Boxes, Tasty Menus…
I have had several boxes delivered over the Covid Lockdown. All have been excellent and good value (we would spend more in a restaurant!). It is also fun to read the instructions and finish the dishes off ourselves. Great idea, will continue to buy boxes after we are all allowed back "out".
